About Me

I’m Adam — a Seattle-based trail and ultra runner.I’m also a husband and a father, balancing work, family, and the normal pressures that come with both.By profession, I work in strategy and growth. It’s fast-paced, decision-heavy, and mentally demanding. Like most people managing career and home life, I’m not immune to stress or mental health challenges. The load builds quietly.Running started as physical training.Over time, it became something more practical.Time on the trail gives me space to think clearly. Long climbs demand steady effort. Hours alone in the woods create room to process decisions, frustration, and uncertainty without distraction. There’s nothing mystical about it.It’s just sustained effort, in nature, without noise. That practice translates.I’m more patient at home.
More measured under pressure.
More deliberate in how I respond instead of react.
Trail Therapy isn’t about escaping life.
It’s about building capacity to handle it better.
I train for long mountain races here in the Pacific Northwest, fitting miles in between meetings, school pickups, and the realities of adult life.Father. Husband. Professional. Runner.Trail Therapy is simply where those parts intersect. If you’re carrying a lot — and most of us are — endurance in nature can be a practical tool.Find your pace.
